The building blocks
Section titled “The building blocks”| Term | What it is |
|---|---|
| Organization | Your company’s LoopFeed account. Shown at the top of the sidebar. API keys and AI curation belong to the organization. |
| Project | A workspace in your organization, such as Website or Mobile App. Topics, widgets, odds and interactives belong to a project. Switch projects in the top-right corner. LoopFeed sets up your projects. |
| Topic | A collection of content about one subject, such as a club, a competition or a desk. It has its own sources, filters and queue. |
| Input feed | A source a topic follows: an RSS feed, an X account, a YouTube channel, playlist or user, or an Instagram account. |
| Filters and whitelist | Rules that decide which posts from the sources reach the queue: age, language, retweets and replies, and words, users, links or patterns that must appear. |
| Queue | The posts of a topic, newest first. Editors pin, hide, add and label items here. |
| Pinned item | An item kept at the top of the topic, in the order you choose. Up to 10 per topic. |
| Hidden item | An item that stays in the queue but is never shown in widgets or the API. |
| Widget | An embeddable unit for your site, such as a carousel, grid, video player or match centre, that shows one or more topics. |
| Interactive | A poll, quiz, prediction or similar question that appears inside a Multi Widget. |
| Odd | A betting odds configuration that a YouTube widget can show. |
| AI curation | LoopFeed’s AI labels posts with their content type, match, teams, players and competitions. Switched on per organization. |
| Content API | Your topics’ content as JSON, for your own pages and apps. |
| Feed API | A paid add-on: every curated post about a match, team, player or competition, across all of LoopFeed. |
What appears where
Section titled “What appears where”For every topic, widgets and the Content API show:
- Pinned items first, in your order.
- Then the newest items, by the time they were published.
- Hidden items never appear, nor do items of a topic whose Display is set to Hidden.
Changes you make in the queue reach the API within about a minute. Widgets refresh on their next load. The Multi Widget also refreshes itself while open.
